IGBO Community Association Abuja Welcomes New President General

The IGBO Community Association Abuja has elected Engineer Ikenna Ellis Ezenekwe as its new President General, marking the beginning of a fresh leadership era. This highly anticipated election took place at the association's meeting venue in Abuja on November 16, 2024.


Engineer Ezenekwe has pledged to lead with integrity and foster seamless collaboration with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), led by Hon. Nyeson Wike to drive the development of the FCT as his commitment to unity and progress is shared by outgoing President General Hon. Leonard Ezenwa Ebo, who expressed optimism about the new administration's potential to unite Igbo communities in the FCT.

 

Mr. Chinkata Paschal, former ICA treasurer, urges the new leadership of ICA to prioritize the importance of community unity, development and values as ICA President General.


Engr. Ezenekwe is committed to working tirelessly to support the Igbo Communities in Abuja and contribute to the city's growth.

Educate A Child Campaign Brings Joy to Mabushi Primary School


 

In a heartwarming initiative, the Educate A Child Campaign recently visited Mabushi Primary School, bringing smiles to the faces of over 50 pupils. With the generous support of the Queen Elizabeth Set of 1987, the campaign provided free textbooks and paid school levies for the students.

The school principal expressed immense joy and gratitude, stating, “This support will go a long way in aiding learning and improving the educational outcomes for our pupils.” The initiative is expected to significantly enhance the learning experience and reduce the financial burden on the families of the beneficiaries.
